Resumption of Programs
Governors have eased restrictions in ALL states except Connecticut, which is scheduled to be eased on May 20th. As a result, many clients who suspended their programs are resuming them effective June 1st. I have instructed our Account Managers to contact each of you on the resumption of your various programs. Due to high demand, if you are contemplating resuming your program with an effective date of June 1st, we ask that you inform us not later than close of business on Friday, May 15th. If contacted after this date, we will work as quickly as possible to get your programs relaunched, we just cannot guarantee a June 1st launch.
Guidelines will be updated to require that all field work conducted, by Independent Contractors, must comply with all governmental requirements, such as facial coverings/masks and social distancing. If you have specific or more stringent guidelines, then let your Account Manager know so that we can address your proposed restrictions.
As many of you may know, we have been conducting retail food audits for a very long time. We are expanding these operations to include safety compliance, given the world in which we now live. Many of you have already contacted us about these capabilities, so if you are interested please ask your Account Manager.
Well, one thing we can say is that we all have survived a very important point in history that will be analyzed for many generations. I just want you to know that the staff of Alta360 Research is committed to helping you and the economy get back into motion.

Program Improvement Review (PIR)
Well, we all made it another week in this strange new world we now face. While there are a lot of things we cannot control right now, there are some that we can control. With that in mind, I have asked our Account Managers to work with you to improve your programs and surveys over the next month. Let’s make use of our downtime to make your program more effective.
Just a few things to consider:
- Does your current survey address all key operational parameters and strategies?
- Has the current crisis changed your approach or changed the importance of some standards?
- Do the number of survey items need to be reduced or do questions need to be reworded?
- Are the current question types and weighting still appropriate?
- Do you have the correct number of questions on your survey?
By taking these steps now we can make your program more effective as things return to normal. Plus, we are taking a bad situation that none of us want to be in and making the best of what we are given. We are in this together as a nation and as partners. Stay safe. Stay healthy.
